Hello Chandler National Families:

It is time to gear up and start thinking about baseball! The 2022 Spring season will be here before you know it!

Attached are the registration dates for our upcoming Spring 2022 season:

Online registration opens Wednesday, December 1, and goes through Sunday, January 30.  You can register at www.chandlernational.com.

If you choose to register in person, we have 2 dates this year scheduled:

1) Saturday, January 8 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at Snedigar Sports Complex, behind field 7
2) Saturday, January 15 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at Snedigar Sports Complex, behind field 7

Note: Late fees are assessed to registration fees starting Sunday, January 16.  Please register as soon as possible, to reduce your registration dues, while also helping the league better plan the required number of managers needed for the season for each division, and also finalize uniform planning. Registration is non-refundable.

Manager volunteers will be needed:

Please submit your name and 2022 volunteer request form (can be found at www.chandlernational.com under forms) to:

vicepresident@chandlernational.com
playeragent@chandlernational.com
SafetyOfficer@chandlernational.com

Please submit as early as possible, but no later than Saturday, January 24 to the above names.  Manager appointments will be made in January.

Evaluations:

Evaluations will be held on Saturday, February 5 for league ages 9 to 12
Makeup evaluations will be held on Saturday, Feb 12 for league ages 9 to 12
Juniors evaluations will be held Friday, February 11.

League ages for your child:

Attached is also a copy of the Little League defined “LEAGUE AGE CHART“.  This is what defines the ages for participation, not the birth date of your child at an event.  Please review this before registering for the spring season.

Umpires:

Chandler National Little League is always looking to introduce new people into the world of umpiring. We have a rigorous curriculum to become a CNLL umpire. You must complete a mechanics clinic co-sponsored by CNLL and District 13. It is an all-day event held at one of the local baseball facilities like Snedigar or Nazomi Sports Complexes. You must successfully pass an extensive rules test administered by our Umpire-In-Chief. The minimum age is 13 years old as of the opening day of the current season. So, if you are an existing umpire looking for a new challenge or just someone who would like to become an umpire, contact umpireinchief@chandlernational.com

We hope to see you out at the ballpark!

Thank you,
Jason McDonnell
