A Division
Requirements
CNLL’s A Division consists of league-age 6, 7 & 8-year-old kids. Basic skills are coached, refined, and stressed. Up to three coaches are on the field during games to encourage and instruct players. At this level, players are taught to hit pitched balls by coaches only. Players are taught game basics and prepared to play at a faster pace. Official standings are not kept. Mandatory play is enforced. There is a post-season tournament at the end of the season.
League age 8-year-olds are eligible to attend our league evaluations to be placed on a AA Division team. Children that are evaluated are NOT guaranteed a spot in the AA Division, as space is limited.
