Terms of Use

Welcome to the official website of Chandler National Little League ("CNLL," "the League," "we," "us"). These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of www.chandlernational.com, including our public pages and communications (together, the "Site").

By using the Site, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If the League later offers an account, we will ask you to accept these Terms by an affirmative click before you create it. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Eligibility; accounts

1.1 Age. You must be 18 or older to create any account the League offers, submit any form, or subscribe to communications. If you are under 18, you may browse the public Site only under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms. Children under 13 may not register for accounts or submit content or information to the Site under any circumstances.

1.2 Accounts. The Site offers no public account today: the only sign-in is League HQ, for the board volunteers who edit the Site. If the League later offers accounts to parents/guardians of registered players, volunteers, or coaches, these Terms govern them. For any account you hold, you agree to: provide accurate information; keep your credentials confidential; not share or transfer your account; and notify us promptly at contact@chandlernational.com of any unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or revoke accounts as described in Section 10.

1.3 League participation is separate. These Terms govern the Site only. Player registration, participation waivers, payments, refunds, and volunteer background checks are governed by the terms, waivers, and policies of Little League International and its Official Registration Platform (Sports Connect, transitioning to PlayMetrics), and by League and Little League rules and policies, not by these Terms.

2. License to use the Site

We grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes connected with the League. You may print or save pages (for example, schedules) for personal use. All other rights are reserved.

3. Intellectual property

3.1 League content. The Site and its content (text, graphics, logos, photographs, video, page designs, and software) are owned by or licensed to CNLL and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. The CNLL name, the CN monogram, the CNLL club logo, jersey and cap marks, and related League identifiers are marks of the League.

3.2 Little League marks. "Little League," "Little Leaguer," "LL," "LLB," the keystone emblem, and related marks are the exclusive property of Little League Baseball, Incorporated, protected under its federal charter (Public Law 88-378) and U.S. trademark registrations. CNLL displays these marks solely as a chartered member league. No visitor, sponsor, or other party may use Little League marks, or CNLL marks, for any purpose without the required authorization (from Little League International and/or the League, respectively). Sponsorship of the League does not convey any right to use Little League marks.

3.3 Third-party marks. Sponsor names and logos appear with their owners' permission for recognition only and remain their owners' property. Their appearance is not an endorsement by Little League International.

4. User content

4.1 What you may submit. The Site accepts no submissions today. Anything you send the League for publication, such as sponsor artwork emailed to us, is "User Content," and so is whatever you submit through a form or portal if the League adds one: volunteer signups, messages, or photos and comments.

4.2 Your license to us. You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant CNLL a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, reproduce, display, and distribute your User Content solely for purposes related to the League's mission and operations: running the Site, League communications, and League promotion consistent with our media policies. This license is narrower than typical commercial terms on purpose: we are a youth league, and Little League policy prohibits commercializing community content. The license ends when the content is deleted from our systems, except as needed for backups and legal compliance.

4.3 Your responsibilities. You represent that you have the rights to what you submit, including, for any image or video identifying a minor, the documented permission of that minor's parent or guardian. Do not submit content you don't have the right to share.

4.4 Moderation. We may review, decline, or remove any User Content at our discretion, including at the direction of the League's Board or Little League International. We have no obligation to publish any submission.

5. Acceptable use

You agree that you will NOT:

  1. Harass, threaten, demean, or personally attack any person, including players, coaches, umpires, volunteers, or families, on or through the Site;
  2. Post or transmit the personal information of any third party without authorization, especially any child's name, image, contact information, school, or whereabouts;
  3. Impersonate any person, League official, or Little League representative, or misrepresent your affiliation;
  4. Upload content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, hateful, or exploitative of minors in any way (violations involving minors will be reported to authorities);
  5. Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts or systems; probe, scan, or test vulnerabilities; or interfere with Site operation;
  6. Scrape, harvest, or bulk-collect content or personal information from the Site, including by automated means (bots, crawlers), except public search engines honoring robots.txt;
  7. Introduce viruses or malicious code;
  8. Use the Site for commercial solicitation, advertising, or fundraising not authorized by the League;
  9. Frame, mirror, or deep-link Site content in a way that misrepresents its source or bypasses these Terms;
  10. Violate any applicable law, Little League policy, or League code of conduct.

6. Schedules, scores, weather, and field status are informational only

We work hard to keep schedules, field-status indicators, and weather-related notices current, but they are provided for convenience and may change faster than the Site updates. Final authority rests with: the City of Chandler for field closures; League officials and umpires for game decisions; and the Official Registration Platform for the records it maintains. Always follow instructions from League officials on-site.

The Site links to services we do not control: the Official Registration Platform, social media, the City of Chandler, and sponsor sites. It embeds none of them. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies; we are not responsible for their content or practices. A link is not an endorsement. Weather alerts and current conditions come from the National Weather Service, read by our server rather than by your browser.

8. Sponsorship inquiries; donations

Submitting a sponsorship inquiry or artwork is an invitation to discuss, not a contract; sponsorships arise only from a completed sponsorship agreement with the League. Donations are processed by our designated payment processor under its terms; CNLL is a 501(c)(3) organization and provides acknowledgment letters for qualifying donations.

9. Disclaimers; limitation of liability

9.1 As-is. THE SITE AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, OR UNINTERRUPTED AVAILABILITY. YOUR USE OF THE SITE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK. (This section addresses the website; physical participation in League activities is addressed by the waivers signed at registration.)

9.2 Cap. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CNLL AND ITS BOARD MEMBERS, OFFICERS, VOLUNTEERS, AND AGENTS, AND LITTLE LEAGUE BASEBALL, INCORPORATED, WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE, AND OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those jurisdictions, these limitations apply to the fullest extent permitted.

9.3 Volunteer protection. Nothing in these Terms waives protections available to the League's volunteers under the federal Volunteer Protection Act or Arizona law.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site (in whole or part) at any time for violation of these Terms, League policies, or conduct that endangers any participant, with or without notice as circumstances require. Sections 3, 4.2 (for the period stated), 5, 6, 9, 11, 12, and 13 survive termination. You may close your account anytime by contacting us.

If you believe content on the Site infringes your copyright, send a notice under 17 U.S.C. § 512 to our designated agent: Copyright Agent, Chandler National Little League, P.O. Box 12161, Chandler, AZ 85248; contact@chandlernational.com: including identification of the work, the allegedly infringing material's location, your contact information, a good-faith statement, a statement of accuracy under penalty of perjury, and your physical or electronic signature. We respond to valid notices, including removal where appropriate and termination of repeat infringers.

12. Governing law; dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Before filing any claim, you agree to try to resolve the dispute informally: write to us at contact@chandlernational.com describing the issue, and the parties will negotiate in good faith for 60 days. Any claim not resolved informally must be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona, and you consent to their jurisdiction and venue. Either party may bring a qualifying claim in small claims court instead. Any claim must be filed within one (1) year after it arises, to the extent permitted by law.

13. General

These Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Children's Privacy Notice, and the Cookie & Consent Policy are the entire agreement between you and CNLL regarding the Site. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a League reorganization approved under our charter. We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new effective date and, for material changes, home-page notice (and email to registered families); continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. Notices to you may be given by email or Site posting.
