Accessibility Statement

Every family in our community deserves full access to Chandler National Little League, on the field and online. That commitment is why we proudly operate a Challenger Division for players with physical and cognitive challenges, and it extends to this website.

Our standard

We design, build, and test www.chandlernational.com to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. In practice that includes:

• Full keyboard operability, visible focus indicators, and logical focus order: including our consent banner;
• Semantic structure (landmarks, headings, lists) for screen readers, with descriptive alternative text on every meaningful image;
• Color contrast of at least 4.5:1 for text (our maroon-and-gold palette is tuned and tested for this), and information never conveyed by color alone;
• Support for text resizing to 200%, reduced-motion preferences, and both light and dark display modes;
• Captions or transcripts for League-produced video content;
• Forms with clear labels, error identification, and instructions;
• Touch targets sized for real hands (minimum 24×24 CSS px, 44×44 for primary actions).

We test with automated tools (axe), keyboard-only passes, and screen readers (VoiceOver, NVDA) as part of every release, and we audit the full site at least once per season.

Known limitations

Some of what we point you to comes from third parties we don't control: registration happens on the Official Registration Platform, your team's own schedule and roster live on that platform's team sites, and field directions hand off to the maps app on your own device. Those are links, not embeds, so nothing from them loads inside our pages and nothing from them can fail inside our pages. Where one of those destinations falls short, we keep an accessible version of the same facts here: the season schedule as text, and the field address printed beside the map buttons. PDF documents from external sources (like city maps) are linked with descriptions; ask us if you need any document in an accessible format.
