- ADHS guidance: limit strenuous outdoor activity above 90°F; indoors above 105°F; NWS Extreme Heat Warnings drive CAUTION/CLOSED states
- Lightning
- Clear field at first thunder/visible lightning; resume no sooner than 30 min after last strike within about 10 miles
- Monsoon
- Jun 15–Sep 30: microbursts, dust storms, lightning; evening games at highest risk
